I am a marine scientist and photographer located in coastal North Carolina

I am a third year PhD student in the Nye lab at UNC-Chapel Hill. I use quantitative and qualitative methods to explore topics and issues in marine fisheries ecology to advance conservation. I focus on understanding the drivers of estuarine and marine predator distribution. In addition to graduate school, I enjoy viewing the ocean through another lens. I use photography as a way to study and tell stories about the ocean.
